As an HR Manager, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the success of our site. You will collaborate with our Site HR Head to lay the foundation for a dynamic and inclusive workplace. Your expertise will help us establish a robust works council and nurture a strong company culture that empowers every employee.

The Human Resources Manager (BHR) is responsible for leveraging best-in-class HR practices to develop, deliver, and support programs that establish AbbVie as an employer of choice while empowering all employees at all levels of the organization. They will serve as a strategic partner to the business, developing HR strategies, needs assessments, and HR solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Partnership: Work alongside the Site BHR to align HR strategies with business goals, driving organizational success.
  • Works Council Leadership: Lead initiatives to set up and manage the works council, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Change Management: Spearhead change management efforts to facilitate smooth transitions and foster an adaptable workforce.
  • Employee Engagement and Development: Design and implement programs that enhance employee engagement and support continuous development.
  • Utilize organizational data to inform HR decisions, identify trends, and develop innovative HR approaches.
  • Ensure initiatives and changes to business processes are linked to organizational efforts.
  • Assist in diagnosing, developing, and delivering HR strategies, programs, and services that meet business needs.
  • Use data analysis and survey results to generate insights on talent, culture, and engagement.
  • Ensure effective delivery of HR programs and services.
  • Manage HR results, including client satisfaction, HR effectiveness, and financial outcomes.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in works council management and understanding of their role within an organization.
  • Expertise in change management with the ability to guide teams through transformations.
  • Strong background in employee engagement and talent development initiatives.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and French to facilitate clear dialogue across diverse teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial and Labor Relations, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Human Resources generalist, with proven experience managing employee relations.
  • Understanding of organizational development activities (preferred).
  • Comprehensive knowledge of HR roles, responsibilities, and their impact on the business.
  • Knowledge of local labor laws.
  • Very good command of English.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
