Sensient Technologies Corporation seeks an EHS Manager for the Saint-Ouen l’Aumône site (Val d’Oise). The role focuses on developing and maintaining Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental policies for a 160-person site involved in cosmetics-related manufacturing, storage and distribution.

You will drive EHS performance, coordinate incident investigations, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide EHS expertise for capital projects. French and English proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a technical or scientific field.
• Proven EHS experience in an industrial environment, ideally chemical industry.
• Knowledge of Labor Code and Environmental Code.

Responsabilités

We are looking for an EHS Manager for Saint-Ouen l’Aumône (Val d’Oise) site.

You will work at a site employing approximately 160 people, dedicated to the design, manufacture, storage, and distribution of chemical products for the cosmetics market; the site is subject to ICPE authorization and has been certified ISO 14001 since 2016.

What you’ll do

• Develop and maintain the policies and procedures for the Occupational Health and Safety and the Environmental management systems
• Drive EHS performance using relevant indicators and communicate on trends
• Organize the reporting of incidents, accidents, and non-conformities, coordinate investigations, and communicate the progress status of corrective actions, while proactively proposing solutions
• Ensure the compliance of activities with applicable regulations and the prefectural order and act as the point of contact for the authorities
• Provide EHS expertise for capital projects and other improvement projects

What you’ll bring

• Master’s degree in a technical or scientific field and proven EHS experience gained in an industrial environment, ideally within the chemical industry
• Knowledge of regulations (Labor Code, Environmental Code)
• A clear preference for fieldwork and aptitude for coaching and mentoring
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to interact with various stakeholders in a dynamic environment
• Well-organized with strong analytical and synthesis skills
• Full command of French and professional proficiency in English (written and spoken)
