Databricks in Milan-based hybrid role seeks a DSA Manager to lead a team of Delivery Solution Architects across the SEMEA region, shaping post-sales delivery strategy with Sales, Pre-Sales, FDE and Partners. You will drive adoption, and be a technical sponsor for major customers.

You will hire and coach, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and push assets to improve delivery effectiveness and ROI across multiple industries.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in a customer-facing role.
• Experience leading a team of pre or post-sale consultants/solution architects, technical account managers or customer success engineers.
• Experience in Cloud, Data, AI domains.
• Experience in putting workloads or data products into production and running them, e.g. in a delivery architect, project manager, DevOps, or service/product owner role.
• Conversant with business issues our customers face today and likely big data use cases in different industries.
• Fluent in Italian and English. Additional language skills in the region will be advantageous.
• Based in Milan or to 1 hour commute time

As a DSA Manager, your role is to build and lead a team of Delivery Solution Architects (DSAs). You work in close collaboration with the Sales, Pre-Sales, FDE and Partners teams in the Southern Europe, Israel, Middle-East and Africa (SEMEA, France excluded) region to shape the post-sales delivery strategy for our major customers and will report to the SEMEA SSA & DSA leader.

DSAs are collaborating with sales and field engineering teams to drive our customers' adoption and growth. They are guiding complex customers to maximize platform value and ROI. This hybrid role combines commercial skills to foster customer relationships and drive growth, with technical expertise across all Databricks products. They are engaged at all organizational levels to drive the adoption.

Your role will have 3 main pillars:

• People: Hire, coach and support a diverse team able to ensure our customers’ success in their roadmap delivery
• Business: You will contribute to the growth of the region and to the investment/co-investment positioning of your team with our customers
• Leadership: You will be the technical sponsor and thought leader for a number of selected customers.

You and your team will contribute to the creation of assets to build the Delivery Solution Architect practice to and improve effectiveness and consistency in working with customers.
