Job summary

Steering Point is seeking a Manager to lead valuation analyses for diverse clients in corporate finance valuations. You will develop and review complex models, including DCF, WACC, PPA, and Monte Carlo simulations, and deliver high-quality reports for financial reporting, tax, and transactions.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensure quality controls, and communicate valuation outcomes clearly to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Qualified ACA/ACCA/CFA/CPA or equivalent.
• Minimum 3+ years of valuations experience in a Transaction Advisory practice.
• Strong project management and communication skills.
• Proficiency in software packages and Excel for financial reporting.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, R or Stata is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation, review, and execution of valuation analyses for financial reporting, tax, transaction advisory, strategic decision-making, and dispute/litigation purposes.
• Develop and review financial models including DCF, WACC, PPA, intangible asset valuations, impairment testing, option pricing models (OPM, PWERM), and Monte Carlo simulations.
• Conduct valuations of businesses, equity interests, debt instruments, derivatives, and intangible assets in accordance with industry standards.
• Perform detailed financial statement analysis, benchmarking, comparable company analysis, precedent transactions, and cost of capital research.
• Prepare high-quality written valuation reports, technical memos, and supporting documentation.
• Ensure compliance with internal risk management, quality control procedures, and regulatory standards.
• A strong ability to synthesize complex valuation outcomes and communicate them to stakeholders in a practical and easy to understood manner.

As a Manager, you will play a key role in delivering high‑quality valuation analyses for a diverse set of clients, including private equity funds, corporates, asset managers, and financial institutions.

Role:
