Jobtailor in Toulouse seeks a skilled Building Maintenance Technician to support residential properties. You will diagnose faults, perform first-line repairs, and coordinate external contractors for routine maintenance, while ensuring safety on occupied sites and high service quality.

The role requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with student residents, along with a valid driving license and basic English for workplace tools and software.

Qualifications

• Cap/Bep or vocational high school diploma in building maintenance or related field.
• BTS in Systems Maintenance (building specialization) is a plus.
• 2–5 years of experience in maintenance of residential buildings, serviced residences, hotels, or multi-unit housing.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and routine building finishing work.
• Ability to diagnose faults and perform first-line repairs or coordinate contractors.
• Awareness of preventive maintenance and risk prevention practices.

Requirements

• CAP / BEP / vocational high school diploma in building maintenance, electrical engineering, plumbing, or a building trade; a BTS in Systems Maintenance (building specialization) is a plus.
• Recommended certifications: BS / BE electrical authorization and fire safety training.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in the maintenance of residential buildings, serviced residences, hotels, or multi-unit housing.
• General knowledge of building maintenance and the operation of technical equipment.
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing, sanitary installations, and routine building finishing work.
• Ability to diagnose faults and perform first-line repairs or coordinate external contractors.
• Awareness of preventive maintenance and risk prevention practices.
• Good understanding of the constraints associated with an occupied site.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, particularly when working with student residents.
• A valid Category B driving licence is required.
• Intermediate professional English is required for using workplace tools and software.
