About This Role

Maintenance Instructor

CAE, the worldwide leader in aviation training, is seeking a Maintenance Training Instructor based in France to join our Business Aviation Maintenance Training Team.

This position is located in Bordeaux, France, and does require some global travel.

If you are an experienced Falcon Instructor, or Licensed Engineer, specifically Falcon 6X, 7X/8X, 900EX EASy, or 2000EX EASy, and are ready to take your career to a new level by becoming a CAE Maintenance Instructor, this role could be for you. We are also interested in talking to individuals with experience working on commercial, or other business jets, as an instructor.

The Maintenance Training Instructor works as part of a team dedicated to the following
  • Provide aircraft maintenance training on products manufactured by the worlds largest OEMs. Use extensive aviation maintenance experience, technical training experience, and varied computer skills (text & graphics), to develop, deliver, and maintain multi-media and computer-assisted courseware packages.
  • This position is customer-facing and is focused on identifying and supporting customers’ needs and requests.
  • Provide training to the customers at varied locations and manage and resolve a broad range of issues in an autonomous manner.
  • Deliver aircraft system training in areas of expertise using a variety of instructional training aids in the classroom environment including the use of multimedia presentations (videos, slides, PowerPoint), aircraft components and aircraft simulators.
Essential Requirements
  • Proven experience working on Falcon aircraft or instructor experience working on business jets
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in aerospace or related industry
  • Working knowledge of mechanical or avionic aircraft systems related to the area of responsibility.
  • Ability to resolve customer instructional issues autonomously.
  • Working knowledge in a variety of basic computer software programs.
  • Licensing on these types would be preferential, as well as time on type.
