Wandercraft is seeking an Electronics Industrialization Engineer to drive production rate increases and BOM cost reductions for exoskeleton and humanoid robots. You will coordinate with Product, Production, Maintenance, Methods, R&D, Quality, and Supply teams to ensure robust electronic designs and supply chains.

You should have a Master’s in electrical engineering with hands‑on experience in industrialization, quality systems, and supplier qualification.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in electrical engineering (required).
  • Experience in product industrialization and/or in a medical or highly standardized environment is an asset.
  • Hands‑on with strong teamwork and ability to adapt in a dynamic, urgent production setting.

Responsabilités

  • Perform technical analysis of non-conformities and work with suppliers to improve products and prevent production delays.
  • Propose solutions to resolve defects observed in the field or by maintenance.
  • Research and qualify new electronic suppliers meeting cost, quality, and lead time criteria in France and abroad.
  • Purchase components and assemblies for V&V testing and supplier evaluation.
  • Design reusable, simple electronics by creating standard component libraries and guiding the electronics team.
  • Create production schematics and routing for test benches in production (Altium).
  • Transfer R&D activities to production in line with quality processes.
  • Manage electronic R&D equipment and define supplier verification activities.
  • Participate in design-for-manufacturing feedback and supplier improvements.
  • Support EMC testing to validate electronic designs and production files.

Description du poste

As a member of the Industrialization team, you will be responsible for supporting the increase in exoskeleton and humanoid robot production rates and the reduction in BOM costs. Interacting with several teams:(Product/Production/Maintenance/Methods/R&D/Quality/Supply), the Industrialization team is the technical contact for all suppliers, in particular PCBs, cables and batteries.

You will be involved in the following activities

  • Technical analysis of non-conformities, working with suppliers with the aim of improving products and avoiding delays in production,
  • Proposing solutions to resolve defects observed in the field and by the maintenance team,
  • Research and qualification of new electronic suppliers meeting defined criteria in terms of quality/cost/lead times in France and abroad,
  • Purchase of components and assemblies for V&V testing and for the evaluation of new suppliers,
  • Simplification and rationalization of electronic designs by working on the creation of standard component libraries and challenging the electronics team to create simple, repeatable designs,
  • Production of schematics and routing, specifically to design test benches for production activities (Altium),
  • Transfer R&D activities to production, in line with quality processes,
  • Management of electronic R&D equipment,
  • Define verification activities to be carried out by suppliers on electronic components,
  • Participation in design-for-manufacturing activities, gathering feedback and proposals from subcontractors, as well as implementing proposals from production and supply,
  • Participation in EMC tests to validate electronic designs,
  • Generation and verification of production files or technical specifications,
  • Follow-up with suppliers to find equivalent components in case of obsolescence,
  • Participation in improvements to our current exoskeleton production flow and in the opening of a new production line,
  • Design, production and qualification of test benches

Diploma: Master's degree in electrical engineering Required experience: Experience in product industrialization and/or in a medical or highly standardized environment would be an asset As a hands‑on person, you enjoy interacting with technical teams on cutting‑edge subjects. You have a passion for new technologies and are eager to adapt your knowledge to a technically demanding field. At ease in a constantly evolving environment, you enjoy learning from others to stay aware of changing user needs. You know how to react quickly and take the initiative to solve problems that come your way. Both insightful and thorough, you're a good team player and know how to share your vision and experience with the people you work with. You enjoy working independently on an innovative product and aren't afraid to take risks when necessary. You know how to explain your choices and argue them, including with people who don't have your technical background or experience. You enjoy working in a medium-size environment (130 people), and are capable of adapting to rapid and unpredictable changes in tasks and priorities. This position is particularly suited to candidates wishing to join a dynamic team focused on the technological development of a complex, multi‑disciplinary product within a young, innovative and fast‑growing company. Experience in the medical field would be a plus.
