Deel is seeking an M&A & Integration Specialist to support strategic growth through acquisitions and post-transaction integration. You will perform financial modeling, valuation analysis, and oversee integration into Deel’s financial, regulatory, and operational infrastructure.

The role requires assessing transactions across tax structures, payments flows, regulatory frameworks, and legal implications for a global fintech platform. Collaboration with multiple teams is essential.

Qualifications

  • 4–7 years of experience in M&A, corporate development, investment banking, or advisory.
  • Strong financial modelling and valuation experience.
  • Experience building DCF models, comparables, precedent transactions, and football field valuations.
  • Understanding cross-border tax, payments infrastructure, and regulatory frameworks.
  • CPA qualifications are a strong advantage.
  • Excellent analytical and stakeholder management skills.

  • Prepare internal investment material and decision-support presentations for leadership.
  • Coordinate with Finance, Tax, Legal, Compliance, Payments, and Product teams during evaluation.
  • Develop integration plans for acquired businesses across financial reporting and systems.
  • Align acquired entities with Deel’s accounting policies and reporting standards.
  • Monitor post-acquisition integration and identify risks.

Role Overview

We are seeking an M&A & Integration Specialist to support Deel’s strategic growth through acquisitions and post-transaction integration. This role combines financial modeling, valuation analysis, and operational execution to evaluate acquisition opportunities and ensure successful integration into Deel’s financial, regulatory, and operational infrastructure. Given Deel’s global fintech platform, the role requires the ability to assess transactions across multiple dimensions including tax structures, payment flows, regulatory frameworks, and legal considerations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate potential acquisition opportunities aligned with Deel’s strategic objectives
  • Build and maintain financial models to assess transaction economics and investment returns
  • Perform company valuation analysis including DCF, comparable company analysis, precedent transactions, and football field valuations
  • Support due diligence processes include financial, operational, regulatory, tax, and legal analysis
  • Analyze target company financial statements, revenue models, and cost structures
  • Prepare internal investment material, financial analyses, and decision-support presentations for leadership
  • Assess cross-border tax structures, payments infrastructure, regulatory licensing requirements, and legal entity implications potential acquisitions
  • Coordinate closely with Finance, Tax, Legal, Compliance, Payments, and Product teams during transaction evaluation
  • Support negotiation and structuring of acquisition transactions in collaboration with internal and external advisors
  • Develop integration plans for acquired businesses across financial reporting, systems, and operational processes
  • Align acquired entities with Deel’s accounting policies, financial reporting standards, and internal controls
  • Support integration of financial systems, ERP structures, and reporting processes
  • Monitor post-acquisition integration progress and identify operational or financial risks
  • Identify process improvements and operational synergies following acquisitions
  • Maintain documentation and analysis supporting strategic transaction decisions
Qualifications
  • 4–7 years of experience in M&A, corporate development, investment banking, or transaction advisory
  • Strong financial modeling and valuation experience
  • Experience building DCF models, multiples analysis, precedent transaction analysis, and football field valuations
  • Understanding of cross-border tax considerations, payments infrastructure, and regulatory frameworks
  • Legal and tax background is preferred; CPA qualification is a strong advantage
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to manage complex cross-functional projects
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Final pay is based on objective, job-related criteria including experience, skills, and location.
