Job summary

Acne Studios in Paris seeks a Product Development Manager for women’s wear woven to lead development from concept to pre-production. You will translate creative vision into exceptional products, balancing quality, craftsmanship, cost and delivery with cross-functional teams and suppliers.

This 12-month fixed-term contract requires strong English communication, advanced Excel skills, and experience with PLM systems.

Qualifications

Degree in Fashion, Textiles, or a related field.
5+ years' experience in product development, preferably within luxury or high-end fashion.
Strong communication skills in English, written and spoken.
Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
Experience working with PLM systems is a plus.
Strong costing, negotiation, and commercial awareness skills.

Responsibilities

Manage the development process from concept to pre-production.
Source and develop materials aligned with design and sustainability goals.
Drive fit, quality, costing, and margin performance.
Allocate styles to the most suitable supplier base.
Maintain BOMs and product data in PLM.
Manage the seasonal development budget.
Build and maintain strong supplier relationships.
Partner cross-functionally to deliver products on time and to target specifications.
