Role title: Logistics Manager Warehousing & Transportation (France, Spain, Portugal)

Location: Paris, France

Role Summary

This position, reporting to the Logistics Director Europe, is responsible for warehousing and secondary freight operations within France, Spain, and Portugal. The role manages strategic relationships with logistics service providers, ensuring delivery of agreed service levels at optimal cost. It oversees a logistics budget of approximately $10 million and is accountable for on-time delivery service targets and inventory management.

As a senior member of the European Logistics Leadership Team, the role contributes actively to the EU logistics strategy, with a strong focus on initiating cross-functional cooperation across the entire supply chain and integrating advanced technologies, including artificial intelligence, to enhance decision-making, forecasting, and operational efficiency.

This is a strategic role that also requires strong operational expertise. The successful candidate must demonstrate deep knowledge of logistics operations to effectively manage budgets, control execution and identify opportunities for improvement. The ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on operational leadership is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver the logistics budget and service KPIs for the country group.
  • Achieve cost savings through sustainable continuous improvement, including the deployment of AI-driven solutions for flow optimization, demand forecasting, and dynamic capacity management.
  • Manage performance reviews of warehouse and transport LSPs, develop improvement plans, and hold logistics providers accountable.
  • Initiate and coordinate collaborative activities across the supply chain, fostering alignment between operations, commercial, and planning functions.
  • Manage warehousing and transport capacity, including risk mitigation plans.
  • Drive inventory management to meet country group targets and SCJ standards, ensuring accuracy, stock take, quality, expiration date, DG compliance, obsolescence, and returns.
  • Ensure all logistics hub operations comply with SCJ and country legal standards regarding health and safety, environmental regulations, dangerous goods management, transport and import/export regulations.
  • Oversee major logistics change projects for the country group.
  • As a senior role, prioritize effectively in complex and dynamic environments, balancing cost, service, and innovation objectives.
  • Lead, coach, and develop one direct report, promoting a culture of operational excellence and innovation.
Required Skills and Education
  • Bachelor degree or greater – preferably in an engineering or a supply chain discipline
  • Extensive experience in Logistics or Supply Chain (warehousing, transportation or managing 3PL / 4PL providers)
  • Global Trade Compliance experience is a competitive advantage
  • Strong analytic skills including the ability to powerfully portray data and drive continuous improvement
  • Experience with AI and digital tools in logistics is highly desirable
  • Ability to build business partnerships and external collaborative relationships
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills across the organization
  • Business competence in local and English languages (Business competence in a 3rd major European language would be an advantage)
  • Demonstrated vendor management experience and negotiation skills
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • Demonstrated LEAN practices; LEAN Champion certification is an advantage
