US Foods is seeking a Night Loader to support our distribution operations on the night shift schedule (Sunday to Thursday). The loader is responsible for loading products onto designated trailers, ensuring safety and accuracy, and supporting warehouse operations.

The role requires reading load sheets, operating pallet jacks, and working in cooler/freezer temperatures as low as −5°C. This is a physically demanding role with potential overtime based on experience and location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Required: pallet jack certification.
• Ability to work in extreme temperature conditions (cooler/freezer).
• One year recent experience in a physical, labor-intensive role preferred.
• Must read alpha and numeric codes from load sheets.

Responsabilités

• Perform pre-shift safety checks on all equipment.
• Prepare trailers, keep them clean and at correct temperature for loading.
• Build pallets per stocking plans and wrap them securely.
• Verify header labels on pallets and inspect for damaged/outdated products.
• Confirm load diagram completion and submission.
• Complete all company-mandated training and assessments.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform pre‑shift duties including safety checks of all equipment.
• Prepare trailers, ensuring they are clean, at the correct temperature, and ready for loading.
• Build pallets according to stocking plans and securely wrap them to protect against damage.
• Verify header labels on pallets and inspect for damaged or outdated products.
• Confirm load diagram completion and submission.
• Complete all company‑mandated training and assessments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Required: pallet jack certification.
• Ability to work in extreme temperature conditions, including cooler and freezer areas with temperatures as low as minus 5 degrees Fahrenheit.
• One‑year recent experience in a highly physical, labor‑intensive occupation preferred.
• Must be able to read alpha and numeric codes from load sheets.

Schedule & Pay

Night shift position; Sunday – Thursday. Pay rate is $25.82 per hour, with potential overtime compensation. Base rate may vary with experience, education, and location.
