Old World Industries, LLC. is seeking a line operator to support production with a strong emphasis on safety and reliability. The role involves standing for long periods, lifting heavy items, and operating multiple pieces of production equipment on the line.

The candidate should be able to work independently, follow procedures, and participate in routine paperwork and cycle counts. Prior warehouse experience is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Physical stamina; must be able to lift 50+ pounds.
• HS Diploma or GED preferred.
• Able to stand, sit, bend, and kneel for long periods.
• Familiar with pallet jack and stretch wrapper.
• Comfortable working independently.

Responsabilités

• Lift, load/unload, stack, check and label goods on the production line.
• Operate all line equipment efficiently.
• Troubleshoot equipment as needed.
• Assist team members on the line.
• Coordinate usage of materials and packaging.
• Perform cycle counts and maintain records.
• Follow safety guidelines and practices.
• Regularly clean and maintain equipment.
• Complete necessary paperwork.
• Take on additional duties as assigned.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.

Position Purpose:

The line operator is responsible for working on production of goods and providing manufacturing support for finished goods. This is a production-oriented position and requires physical labor, including long periods of standing, frequently repeated motions, and lifting.

Duties, Tasks, and Responsibilities:

• Lift, load/unload, stack, check, label goods in production line
• Efficiently operating all equipment on the line
• Troubleshooting assigned equipment as necessary
• Assisting team members on the line
• Coordinating usage of materials, packaging, etc.
• Performance detailed manual cycle counts; maintain
• Adherence to safety guidelines and practices
• Regularly maintaining and cleaning equipment
• Completing necessary paperwork
• Additional duties as assigned
• Regular and punctual attendance

Education, Skills and Abilities:

• Previous experience helpful
• HS Diploma or GED Preferred
• Physical stamina; must be able to lift 50+ pounds at a time
• Must be able to work in different positions for a long period of time - stand, sit, bend, and kneel
• Familiar with common warehouse tools and equipment - pallet jack, stretch wrapper
• Comfortable working independently
