Schneider Electric is seeking a legal professional to provide practical, business-oriented AI and data governance guidance from France, with global scope. The role spans regulatory compliance, data privacy, and contract review for AI-enabled solutions, collaborating with AI Hub, Product, Engineering, and Business teams.
Ideal candidates hold a Master’s degree in Law with 2–5 years in tech/IP/IT law, data protection, and SaaS contexts, plus fluency in English.

Within the Digital Trust & Software Legal team, you will provide practical, business-oriented legal advice on Artificial Intelligence and support the global deployment of compliant, responsible and secure AI-enabled solutions.
Reporting to the General Counsel – Digital Trust & Software, with functional alignment to AI Legal, you will operate globally from Europe.
You will work closely with the AI Hub, Business Units, Data and Software teams, and the wider Group Legal community.
This role is based in France, in Rueil-Malmaison or Grenoble preferably.
It is also opened in Spain, in Barcelona.
There is no relocation for this role.

For this France based position, the expected pay range is EUR 63.200 - EUR 94.800 per year. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives (annual bonus) at target. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located in France. Our pay ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Individual’s compensation is positioned within the range based on several factors such as knowledge, job-related skills, experience, potential and relevant education or training.
