Job summary

AMPERE Group is seeking a senior design/industrialisation lead to head the site’s design office. You will guide the team through product lifecycle, co-design with clients, and cost out new products and upgrades while ensuring industrialisation success.

The role requires 5 years of electro-mechanical design experience and a master’s degree in an industrial discipline, with strong knowledge of CAD tools and electrical diagrams. English level B2 is expected.

Qualifications

• 5 years’ experience in electrical and mechanical design
• Master’s degree in an industrial discipline
• Proficiency in reading electrical diagrams
• Knowledge of cabinet sizing, component layout and electrical wiring harnesses
• English minimum level B2

Responsibilities

• Lead the site’s technical team (Design Office/Industrialisation) to support the entire product lifecycle.
• Co-design with clients and cost out new products and upgrades.
• Industrialisation of new products and modifications.
• Technical management during series production, including stock-outs and obsolescence.
• Oversee training and skills development of the team.
• Collaborate with clients’ design office technicians to propose technical alternatives.
