Job summary

Black & White Engineering is seeking a Principal Structural Engineer to lead and deliver structural design for complex projects. You will provide technical leadership, drive structural solutions and coordinate interfaces across multidisciplinary teams to ensure buildable, robust designs.

The role emphasizes mentoring, design reviews and setting technical standards while collaborating with clients and stakeholders to influence project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in structural analysis and design across steel, concrete and foundations.
• Proven track record delivering complex structural projects.
• Experience providing technical leadership and design assurance.
• Strong knowledge of constructability and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Ability to communicate complex technical issues clearly with clients and project teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural engineering design and technical delivery across complex projects.
• Develop and review structural solutions including steel, concrete and foundation systems.
• Provide technical assurance through calculations, design reviews and engineering judgement.
• Coordinate structural requirements with civil, mechanical, electrical and architectural interfaces.
• Resolve complex structural and constructability challenges.
• Engage with clients and stakeholders on technical decisions.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to technical standards and best practice.
