Jobtailor in Paris seeks an experienced mechanical/process engineer to coordinate pumps and turbomachinery projects, leading cross-disciplinary teams across hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical engineering.

You will analyze technical requirements, ensure design deliverables meet regulatory and safety standards, and lead design reviews while overseeing supplier performance and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in mechanical engineering, process engineering, or a related field.
• 5 to 10 years of experience in the design and development of complex industrial products.
• Proven experience coordinating technical teams or managing projects.
• Strong product engineering expertise in turbomachinery, ideally centrifugal pumps.
• Experience in demanding industrial environments such as nuclear, energy, water, chemicals, or oil and gas.
• Proficiency in reading and analyzing technical documentation.
• Strong knowledge of ISO/EN standards applicable to industrial equipment.
• Good command of associated quality processes.
• Fluency in English is essential.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate engineering activities related to pumps, pump skids, and associated systems.
• Lead interfaces between hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical engineering teams.
• Analyze technical requirements and ensure they are incorporated into studies and designs.
• Ensure the consistency and compliance of engineering deliverables.
• Prepare and lead design reviews and monitor associated action plans.
• Participate in the technical monitoring of suppliers through to equipment delivery.
• Contribute to the integration of equipment into its operating environment.
• Manage design changes, non-conformities, and lessons learned.
• Contribute to product standardization and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate the various engineering disciplines, monitor technical and supplier interfaces, and ensure equipment compliance with regulatory, contractual, and nuclear safety requirements
