Scope Ratings is seeking a Director of Structured Finance in Paris to lead the development of analytical capabilities and rating methodologies for complex structures. You will analyse transactions as the lead analyst and guide junior team members, while occasionally communicating methodologies to clients.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in structured finance or closely related sectors.
• Master's degree in finance, banking, economics, statistics, mathematics or equivalent.
• Strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of financial markets and credit.
• Extensive knowledge of structured finance segments and geographical markets, incl. asset, counterparty, and structural analysis and cash flow modelling.
• Knowledge of securitisation legal frameworks in major European jurisdictions and banking regulation.
• Proficient in quantitative tools used for structured finance analysis.
• Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Multicultural, proactive, detail‑oriented, and deadline driven.

Responsabilités

• Lead the development of Scope’s analytical capabilities and methodologies.
• Analyse structured finance transactions as lead analyst to assign credit ratings.
• Mentor junior analysts to raise team output.
• Occasionally act as primary contact between Scope Ratings and clients to explain methodologies.
• Engage with clients, investors, and market participants; present and brief at a professional level.
• Produce high‑quality, forward‑looking credit research and commentary in a timely manner.
