Airbus Operations SAS in Toulouse is seeking an Ice Detection System Designer (M/F) to lead the development of ice detection and protection concepts for wing, nacelle, and engine icing. You will refine system requirements, manage suppliers, and validate concepts through V&V activities across multiple aircraft programs.

Qualifications

• Degree in mechanical/aeronautical engineering.
• Knowledge of Fluid dynamics, thermal, thermodynamic engineering.
• Knowledge of System Development Processes and Physical Installation.
• Basic understanding of Aerodynamics, Handling Qualities and Performance.
• Understanding of Certification principles.
• Experience with CS25 subpart B would be a plus.
• Project Management basics.
• You are dynamic, positive, curious, passionate and creative.
• You like to learn and to collaborate with a high diversity of people.
• Negotiation level of English
• Intermediate level of French with a willingness to learn is desirable

Responsabilités

• Define Primary Ice Detection Operational Concept
• Understand and refine System requirements and architecture
• Monitor thermal studies to guarantee adequate ice detection performance to the requirements
• Lead workpackages with suppliers as part of projects aiming to demonstrate maturity of candidate technologies: convert system architecture into specification, follow-up suppliers design activities and define V&V strategy
• Ensure integration and interfacing with aircraft systems
