Airbus Operations SAS in Toulouse is seeking an Ice Detection System Designer to join our design office. You will lead design activities for ice detection technologies, refine system requirements, and coordinate with suppliers to demonstrate mature concepts across aerostructures and systems.

Qualifications

• Degree in mechanical or aeronautical engineering.
• Knowledge of fluid dynamics and thermal engineering.
• Understanding of system development processes.
• Basic understanding of aerodynamics/handling qualities.
• Knowledge of certification principles; CS25 exposure is a plus.
• Project management basics.
• Dynamic, positive, curious, and collaborative mindset.
• English negotiation level; basic French willingness to learn.

Responsabilités

• Define primary ice detection operational concept.
• Refine system requirements and architecture.
• Monitor thermal studies to ensure performance.
• Lead work packages with suppliers and define V&V strategy.
• Ensure integration and interfacing with aircraft systems.
