Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) in Paris, France, seeks a Lead HPC Computational Scientist/Engineer to optimize scientific computing apps for AMD GPUs and scale AI workflows. You will work across academia and industry to port, tune, and validate large-scale HPC codes.

The ideal candidate holds a PhD and 7+ years in HPC/AI GPU, with strong CUDA/HIP, MPI, OpenMP, and C/C++. Fluency in French and English is required; on-site collaboration is essential at the GENCI COE.

Qualifications

• PhD in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of HPC and/or AI GPU experience in research or industry.

Responsabilités

• Develop, port, and optimize high-performance computing software for use on AMD hardware.
• Collaborate with COE team to solve issues and drive performance.
• Represent AMD to customers and third parties; advocate for customers within AMD.
• Develop and present training materials for internal and external audiences.
