Qualifications

• Experience in embedded software within the aerospace sector.
• Proficiency in C/C++ or Python.
• Experience with SPI, I2C, UART.
• Familiarity with microcontrollers (STM32, ESP32, Pixhawk) and RTOS.
• Strong systems mindset and ability to see how components connect.
• Team-oriented and UAV/drones interest.

Responsibilities

• Lead software architecture: Define and evolve the overall architecture of embedded systems across onboard and ground applications.
• Develop hardware abstraction: Design a hardware abstraction layer that enables sensors, actuators and subsystems to operate as an integrated system.
• Establish development processes: Build automated CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, build systems and release processes.
• Develop PX4-based systems: Extend and integrate PX4 flight software and QGroundControl to meet platform and mission requirements.
