Job summary

Socomec is seeking an experienced Data Platform Leader to oversee the deployment, evolution, and performance of the Group’s Data Platform in a multinational setting. You will guide a four-person team, translate business needs into high-performance data solutions, and collaborate with business units and technical teams across ERP environments.

The role emphasizes data governance, architecture decisions, and strong stakeholder communication in an international context.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree (Bac+5) in computer science, data science, or equivalent.
• 5–8 years experience in data engineering or data platform environments with Databricks.
• Proficiency in Azure environments (ADLS, Data Factory, security), Lakehouse architectures, and data governance and quality issues.
• C1-level proficiency in French and English to thrive in an international environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, lead, and support a team of four employees to develop data skills and best practices.
• Support business units in understanding, defining, and prioritizing their data needs.
• Translate functional requirements into high-performance data solutions in collaboration with technical teams.
• Ensure the availability, reliability, quality, and overall performance of the platform in a multi-ERP environment.
• Contribute to architectural decisions, structure data governance, and ensure smooth communication among the various project stakeholders.

Within the Data division, you will join a team at the heart of the Group’s digital transformation. In an international and multicultural context, the Data Platform serves as a strategic lever for leveraging and maximizing the value of data. Reporting to the Head of the Data Division, you will oversee the implementation, evolution, and performance of the Group’s Data Platform while supporting business and technical teams in addressing their data challenges.
