Valtech is a leading experience innovation company helping brands unlock value in a digital world. We are seeking a Lead Tech Data Engineer — Snowflake to guide a team of Data Engineers and own data delivery for enterprise clients.

You will stay hands-on with Snowflake-based pipelines, apply best practices in data modelling, testing and CI/CD, and collaborate across business and tech stakeholders to deliver high-impact data solutions.

Qualifications

8+ years of experience in Data Engineering or a similar technical role.
Strong hands-on Snowflake expertise.
Proven experience leading or mentoring Data Engineers.
Strong SQL and modern data pipeline experience.
Experience with dbt, Airflow, Fivetran/Stitch or equivalent.
Good understanding of data modelling, data quality and cloud data platforms.
Strong communication skills in French and English (C1).
Ability to balance hands-on engineering with team leadership.

Lead and mentor a team of Data Engineers.
Own day‑to‑day technical delivery, priorities and quality.
Support team development through mentoring, feedback and knowledge‑sharing.
Review technical work and promote strong engineering practices.
Develop and improve Snowflake-based data solutions and pipelines.
Drive best practices around SQL, data modelling, testing, data quality and CI/CD.
