Valtech, the experience innovation company, is hiring a Lead Tech Data Engineer — Snowflake in Paris. You will lead a team of Data Engineers and own day-to-day technical delivery, blending hands-on work with leadership to build scalable Snowflake-based data solutions and pipelines.

You’ll work with Snowflake, dbt, Airflow and data platforms, mentoring others while solving complex data challenges for enterprise clients.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering or a similar technical role.
• Strong hands‑on Snowflake expertise.
• Proven experience leading or mentoring Data Engineers.
• Strong SQL and modern data pipeline experience.
• Experience with dbt, Airflow, Fivetran/Stitch or equivalent.
• Good understanding of data modelling, data quality and cloud data platforms.
• Strong communication skills in French and English (C1).
• Ability to balance hands‑on engineering with team leadership.

As a Lead Tech Data Engineer — Snowflake (all genders), you will combine strong hands‑on data engineering expertise with technical and people leadership. You will lead a team of around Data Engineers, ensuring high-quality delivery while staying close to the technology.

As part of our Data & AI practice, you will work with enterprise clients on modern data platforms, with a strong focus on Snowflake, data engineering best practices and AI-ready data solutions,Client-focused.

Must have qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering or a similar technical role.
• Strong hands‑on Snowflake expertise.

• Experience with dbt, Airflow, Fivetran/Stitch or equivalent.
• Good understanding of data modelling, data quality and cloud data platforms.

• Ability to balance hands‑on engineering with team leadership.
