Our Mission

“Our mission: to power connected devices using ambient light, offering a sustainable alternative to batteries.” — Brice Cruchon, Founder and CEO of Dracula Technologies

Founded in 2012 in Valence, Dracula Technologies is a French Deep Tech and Green Tech company that designs, develops, and manufactures LAYER® and LAYER® Vault: an organic printed photovoltaic technology that generates energy from ambient light, even in very low light conditions (down to 5 lux, equivalent to a full moon night). By replacing traditional batteries in connected devices, our modules can reduce maintenance costs by up to 80% and help reduce electronic waste that is difficult to recycle.

In September 2024, we inaugurated in Valence the “Green Micropower Factory”, a cutting‑edge industrial facility dedicated to producing our modules using digital printing technology. With more than 25 patents, Dracula Technologies has been a mission‑driven company since 2023.

We are currently 46 employees, all committed to an ambitious industrial journey: doubling our workforce by 2027 and reaching 250 people by 2030, with the goal of becoming the European leader in the sector.
