A leading aeronautics company is seeking an experienced engineer to oversee system designs and validate laboratory testing equipment. The ideal candidate must have a degree in Aeronautical Engineering and at least 5 years of experience in systems design. This role emphasizes collaboration, technical management, and ensures compliance with industry regulations. The position is based in Toulouse, France, and involves occasional travel to multiple sites.
The life cycle of an aircraft programme is characterised in particular by the implementation of development and certification tests, but also, beforehand, by R&T activities.
These tests vary throughout the test campaign, from the ground integration test campaign to flight tests.
To carry them out, we need high-performance, suitable test facilities operated by testers and pilots to validate and integrate new aircraft systems. We fulfil this mission through a multinational department spread across four sites (Toulouse, Filton, Hamburg and Bremen) and we build cooperation with the other Airbus divisions.
Occasional travel to multiple sites is to be expected.
This job requires an understanding of potential compliance risks and a commitment to acting with integrity, as the foundation for the Company’s success, reputation and sustainable growth.
Global capital of aeronautics and European capital for space research, Toulouse is a dynamic city in the southwest of France served by an international airport. Ideally located between the Mediterranean sea and the Atlantic ocean and close to the Pyrenees mountains, it offers plenty of options for outdoor activities!
