Dassault Systèmes is seeking a motivated Software Engineer to join the Kubernetes-as-a-Service platform team. You will build features and in-cluster components, guided by senior engineers, with a learning path from scoped features to larger components.

You will work on Python and Go, contribute to controllers, CRDs, and Helm charts, and help ensure test coverage and robust CI/CD pipelines in a collaborative, agile environment.

Qualifications

• 0 to 3 years of professional software engineering experience including internships or open-source projects.
• Degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience.
• Working knowledge of Python or Golang and willingness to learn both.
• Hands-on experience with containers and Kubernetes as a user of the platform.
• Familiar with Linux, command line, and Git workflows.
• Understanding of networking, REST APIs, and CI/CD practices.
• Curiosity, rigour, and ability to learn fast in a complex environment.
• Good communication skills and teamwork in agile, remote or cross-functional settings.
• Professional working proficiency in English.

Responsabilités

• Develop, test, and maintain features of our Kubernetes orchestration platform written in Python and Go.
• Contribute to in-cluster components, controllers, CRDs, and Helm charts under guidance.
• Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests; keep CI/CD pipelines green.
• Automate cluster lifecycle tasks and improve internal tooling.
• Participate in code reviews, RFCs, and technical discussions.
• Write and update technical documentation for delivered features.
• Investigate and fix bugs with root-cause analysis and regression tests.
• Grow Kubernetes/CNCF expertise and share findings with the team.
