A leading cosmetics and fragrance company is seeking a Sales Key Account Manager to drive growth strategy for French customers in the Prestige segment. The role involves managing customer needs, developing relationships, and ensuring satisfaction. Candidates should have a Bachelor's Degree and at least 5 years of sales experience, preferably in packaging or fast consumer goods. Excellent communication skills and B to B sales experience are also required.

Albéa Cosmetics & Fragrance is seeking a Sales Key Account Manager to drive our growth strategy for our French customers in the Prestige segment. This role is crucial to drive our sales strategy, build relationships and ensure customer satisfaction and growth.

This position reports to Prestige & Skincare Sales Director

Main activities
  • Manage the needs of the customers to meet the objectives of the Company’s business plans and strategies.
  • Develops and / or maintain and improve business relations with customers in the region.
  • Build trusting relationships with the key customers and insure a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Lead the RFQ / bid process with all the internal stakeholders (development teams, plant…), build business cases for complex projects when necessary
  • Ensure a strong follow-up on the product development phase and insure a smooth interface between the customer and internal team.
  • Report key information and data through Albea tools such as Winforce, ADS, Power BI, IBP, etc.
  • Analyze monthly results in ADS and monitor achievement of objectives accordingly.
  • Seek out and target new customers / new sales opportunities, initiate action plans to approach and secure new business
  • Provide an annual sales plan and quarterly updates, revisions and modifications to the plan.
  • Coordinate the specific objectives of the sales plan with all groups of the Company and, most specifically, with Supply Chain, Manufacturing (Industrial) and Finance, ensuring that communication and flow of information is consistent.
Accountability and KPIS
  • Guarantees to maintain and grow the business, reach sales performance target on both volume and profitability
  • Guarantee a good sales service, continuously improve customer satisfaction.
  • Guarantee that Albea key performance factors, such as profit, working capital, overdue, etc. are maintained and improved.
  • Closely follow-up project activities and pro-actively identify cost deviation.
  • Maintain a good customer relationship.
  • Flawless project execution to assure on time launches
  • Guarantees an appropriate communication and negotiation in case of crisis management
  • Pro-active and reactive communication / build trust
Experience and education
  • Bachelor's Degree or above
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Sales
  • Packaging experience, or fast consumer goods experience is preferred
Knowledge / Technical skills required
  • B to B sales experience requested
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint, experience with MS Project is a plus.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Fluent in both written and oral English
  • Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative to achieve growth targets.
