Air Liquide is seeking an experienced in-house lawyer to advise on a broad range of legal matters, negotiate and draft contracts, and defend the company’s interests according to applicable laws and regulations.

The role requires close collaboration with operational teams, preparation of approvals for commercial contracts, and active management of pre-litigation and litigation processes, including corporate secretariat duties for subsidiaries.

Qualifications

• Master 2 in business law (international dimension)
• LL.M. in an Anglo-Saxon country is a plus

Responsabilités

• Assist the Head of Legal Affairs (excluding IP, tax and employment law).
• Draft and negotiate contracts and manage litigation.
• Coordinate with operational teams and law firms as needed.
• Prepare and obtain formal approvals for all commercial contracts.
• Follows and manages pre-litigation and litigation processes.
• Monitor corporate law issues and the legal secretariat of French and foreign subsidiaries.

Provide advice in various legal fields to promote & defend the company's interests, notably by negotiating & drafting contracts, & managing litigation, in accordance with laws & regulations (corporate, securities, competition, etc.).

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

1. Assist the Head of Legal Affairs (excluding intellectual property, tax and employment law).
2. Works closely with the operational teams and, where appropriate, the Group's support teams and/or law firms.
3. Is responsible to prepare and get the formal approvals of all commercial contracts.
4. Follows and manage the pre-litigation and litigation process.
5. Monitor corporate law issues and the legal secretariat of French and foreign subsidiaries.

Are you a MATCH?

1. Level of education required: Master 2 in business law with an international law dimension, ideally supplemented by an LL.M. in an Anglo‑Saxon country.
2. Fluency in English.
