Dataiku is seeking a Junior User Experience Designer to join our product team in Paris, collaborating with developers and designers to build the Data Science Platform. You will engage in user research, usability studies, and interaction design to improve the platform’s ergonomics and workflow.

Phase through all stages of product development, presenting findings, and promoting standard practices. A foundation in UX, good communication, and a strong portfolio are essential to thrive in this role.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in design-related software (e.g., Figma, Miro, or similar).
• 0 to 2 years of relevant UX design experience.
• Understanding of user-centered design approaches and tools (including wireframes, journey maps, and user flows).
• Basic knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Strong communication skills and ability to provide rationale for design decisions.
• Portfolio featuring student or professional examples of interaction design work.

Responsabilités

• Support the design, execution, and analysis of concept validation studies with supervision.
• Research consumer behaviors, expectations, and benchmark competitors.
• Assist in preparing and delivering presentations of findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Translate design decisions and UX recommendations for feature concepts into wireframes and interactive prototypes.
• Create and test user flows and low-fidelity prototypes.
• Collaborate with engineers to understand technical constraints and overcome design challenges.
• Contribute to the maintenance of our styleguide and our in-house design language.
• Research and stay current with trends in UX and design.
• Actively learn to understand the constraints and needs of various industries (e.g., finance, health, etc).
