ARCHIMED in Lyon is seeking a motivated intern for a 6-month HR/Strategy role to support portfolio initiatives and governance activities. You will work closely with senior teams, prepare decks, and coordinate cross-functional projects across Europe, US, and Asia.

The role requires a Master’s degree, 1–2 years of experience, strong project management, analytical skills, and fluency in English. You will gain hands-on mentorship in private equity, value creation, and AI initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of professional experience, preferably in strategy consulting or similar roles.
• Master’s degree from a leading business or engineering school, or equivalent.
• Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and attend Portfolio and Steering Committee meetings and support governance bodies.
• Act as project manager for cross-functional value-creation initiatives within ARCHIMED’s portfolio companies.
• Perform ad-hoc analyses and prepare decks/documents to inform strategy deployment.

• Professional backgrounds: Private Equity (3i,Siparex, USS Ltd, Barings,capiton), Consulting (A.T. Kearney, Bain, McKinsey), M&A (Lazard, EY, KPMG, PwC), Industry (Biotronik,Cerba, Pharmacy, Veterinary)

Your Role

Location: Lyon, France
Duration: 6 months
Start Date : ASAP

In a fast-paced environment, you will deliver on several strategic initiatives, including:

• Portfolio & strategic meetings: prepare and attend Management Committee / Partners meetings as well as portfolio management meetings, coordinating with various stakeholders to support continuous improvement and growth at ARCHIMED
• Project management: act as an enabler, key point of contact and project manager to ensure success of cross-functional initiatives related to value creation in ARCHIMED’s portfolio companies
• Analyses & presentation preparation: perform ad-hoc research, analyses or prepare documents to fuel ARCHIMED’s strategy design and deployment

• Demonstrate a minimum of 1-2 years' professional experience, preferably in strategy consulting or Chief of Staff positions
• Possess a Master’s degree from a leading business or engineering school, or equivalent
• Strong project management and organizational skills: ability to plan, organize and prioritize work across multiple workstreams and stakeholders
• Proven analytical skills, attention to detail and strong work ethic
• Comfortable preparing decks, synthetizing minutes and conducting discussions in senior governance bodies
• Excellent relationship, communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, in English
• Ability to work with sensitive, confidential information and exercise judgment accordingly
• Autonomous and proactive, able to operate with limited day-to-day supervision
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment, with a positive mindset
• Interest in private equity, value creation and AI
