Job summary

Bertrandt Group is seeking an experienced industrial maintenance technician to support wind and solar PV assets in Amiens, France. You will operate in an autonomous team, performing planned and corrective maintenance, inspections, and safety procedures to ensure equipment availability.

You will collaborate with internal teams and subcontractors, manage service center activities, and report turbine issues to Asset Management, while maintaining tools and parts in good condition.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in industrial maintenance (mechanical, electrical, or automation), including 2–3 years in wind or solar PV.
• Relevant education as listed (diploma or equivalent) and professional qualifications in maintenance.
• GWO BST and electrical certificate (habilitation électrique) are required.
• Fluent French (C1) and at least intermediate English are expected.
• Valid driving license is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Support all on-site and off-site maintenance activities to ensure asset availability.

What To Expect

• Support all on-site and off-site maintenance activities (warehouse, offices, etc.) to ensure the availability of land-based assets according to legal and internal regulations
• Work within an autonomous maintenance team under the supervision of the French Maintenance Manager
• Assist with planned maintenance, inspections, and safety procedures following company standards
• Participate in troubleshooting and corrective maintenance activities, both minor and major, in collaboration with internal teams or subcontractors
• Support smooth operations of the service center, including preparation and organization of maintenance activities
• Communicate relevant information to the Asset Management team (e.g., turbine failures, planned maintenance)
• Ensure tools, equipment, spare parts, and consumables are in good condition, inspected, and available in sufficient quantity

What You Bring Along

• High school diploma, BTS, DUT, or equivalent in industrial maintenance, electromechanical systems, electrical engineering, or related field
• Certification or professional qualification in technical maintenance or wind turbine maintenance (e.g., BZEE)
• Specific training or certifications: GWO BST + French electrical certificate (habilitation électrique)
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in industrial maintenance (mechanical, electrical, or automation), including 2–3 years in wind or solar PV
• Language skills: fluent French (C1 minimum) and intermediate to fluent English
• Valid driving license
