Decathlon Digital EN is seeking a Junior Data Scientist for Downstream Demand Forecast in Paris or Lille. You will analyze data, build AI models for production, and provide insights to optimize demand forecasting and stock management across the supply chain.

You will work with Data Scientists, Analysts, Engineers, and ML Engineers in an agile setup, collaborating with Product and Business users. English is required and a hybrid 2-day remote work arrangement is offered.

Qualifications

• Data Science projects with statistical analysis and forecasting.
• Understanding of supply chain concepts, stock optimization and demand forecasting.
• Programming in Python, SQL, Spark, TensorFlow, PyTorch for analysis and modeling.
• Analytical mindset with ability to structure insights and recommendations.
• Collaborative in multidisciplinary teams across business, data, product, governance.
• Proactive and curious with a passion for improving methods and solutions.
• Professional command of English.

Responsabilités

• Analyze historical sales data and market trends to forecast demand.
• Compare internal and external factors to forecast product demand.
• Develop and implement statistical models and ML algorithms for forecasting.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Engineering, and Product teams to align AI efforts.
• Evaluate and improve forecasting models for accuracy and efficiency.
• Communicate insights via clear visualizations and presentations.
• Stay updated on industry trends in data science and supply chain.
