Decathlon Digital EN is seeking a Junior Data Scientist in Lille or Paris to design, develop, and maintain AI solutions for multi-echelon demand forecasting within the Downstream Demand Forecast team.

You will collaborate with Data Scientists, Analysts, ML Engineers, and product and engineering stakeholders to produce actionable insights and production-ready models that optimize stock across the supply chain.

Qualifications

• Experience with time series forecasting in data science projects.
• Understanding of supply chain concepts, stock optimization, and forecasting needs.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, Spark, TensorFlow/PyTorch for modeling.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to translate business questions into models.

Responsabilités

• Analyze historical sales data and market trends to forecast demand.
• Develop and implement forecasting models for product replenishment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data and AI efforts with business goals.
• Communicate insights through clear data visualizations and presentations.
• Evaluate and improve forecasting methods to raise accuracy and efficiency.
