Job summary

Natixis is seeking a Junior Data Scientist to join the Solvency Metrics team in Paris for a 6-month fixed-term contract. The role focuses on ALM, liquidity and solvency indicators, and supports the automation and AI-driven enhancements across risk, finance and IT collaborations.

You will work in an international setting with a hybrid Paris-based arrangement, including remote work options. You will develop prototypes, prepare data, and present findings to stakeholders while documenting methods

Qualifications

Higher education in data science, computer science, mathematics, engineering, or finance.
Initial experience in similar positions.
Fundamentals of data science and machine learning.
Data preparation, analysis and visualization.
Python and SQL.
Big Data tools.
Proficient in English with a B2 level.

Responsibilities

Identify opportunities to apply AI, data science and automation to existing processes.
Collect, explore and prepare data, evaluating quality and relevance.
Develop and test prototypes using Python, SQL and Excel, contributing to ML and Big Data projects.
Present analyses and results to technical and non-technical stakeholders and assess usefulness.
Document analyses, code and methods; collaborate with business and IT teams.
