The Western Union Company in Paris (Hybrid) is seeking a Junior AML Compliance Specialist to join our France Compliance Team. You will help fight money laundering, terrorist financing, and fraud while gaining exposure to AML investigations and agent oversight activities within a global payments leader.

You will conduct AML investigations, support STRs and TRACFIN reporting, review AML controls, and perform enhanced due diligence and risk assessments. Fluency in French and English is required.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in AML, Compliance, KYC or Financial Crime.
• Strong analytical and investigation skills.
• Fluent French and English (oral and written).
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Interest in financial crime prevention and regulatory compliance.

Responsabilités

• Conduct AML investigations and analyze suspicious activities.

• Perform quality reviews of FIU requests and other AML controls.
• Conduct transaction monitoring enhanced due diligence and risk assessments.
• Contribute to oversight of Western Union’s agent network through compliance reviews and risk-based assessments.
• Monitor emerging AML risks and support continuous improvement of compliance controls.

This is a unique opportunity to gain exposure to both AML investigations and Agent Oversight activities within a leading global payments company.

What you will do:

• Conduct AML investigations and analyze suspicious activities
• Support Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs) and regulatory reporting to TRACFIN
• Perform quality reviews of FIU requests and other AML controls
• Conduct transaction monitoring enhanced due diligence and risk assessments
• Contribute to the oversight of Western Union’s agent network by conducting compliance reviews, analyzing transaction activity, andparticipatingin risk-based assessments aimed atidentifyingand mitigating compliance risks.
• Monitor emerging AML and financial crime risks across the network and support continuous improvement of compliance controls.
