This role involves managing key accounts and developing business in priority markets. Founded in 1985 in Spain, Tradecorp (www.tradecorp.es/en) is an expert company in micronutrients and specialty fertilizers. The firm philosophy is based on offering clients solutions that allow them to produce more with less, increasing efficiency, favouring sustainable development and finally providing a bigger return on their investment and efforts.

Your main tasks and responsibilities
  • Supervise and lead an international team of 4-6 sales persons.
  • Take over existing business in Belgium/Netherlands/Ireland and further develop it. UK is a priority market and Scandinavia needs to be addressed.
  • Manage, deal with and develop key accounts (distribution, cooperatives) with strong and demanding business partners.
  • Report directly to the Commercial Manager Western & Eastern Europe.
  • Position is home office based anywhere in Belgium, the Netherlands or the UK with regular visits to the company’s office in Belgium.
Your profile
  • At least first management experience of a small team. Commercial management skills are key to success.
  • Professional background in agribusiness preferred but other sectors are not excluded.
  • Good knowledge of the agriculture distribution sector in Belgium, the Netherlands and/or the UK is highly appreciated.
  • Experience in sales of specialty and innovative products is a plus.
  • Languages: fluent English plus ideally two other languages (French, Dutch / Flemish).
  • Higher agricultural education not required but could be an advantage.
  • Capacity to acquire the necessary technical background and understand the specificity, added value and benefits of the company’s products.
  • Strong personality to deal as a peer with key account partners.
  • International vision/openness is also important.
  • Valid driving licence.
