LVMH Group is seeking an ambitious fashion design intern to support the jersey studio. You will research trends, assist in garment development, and help organize files and prototypes to support collection cycles and fashion week.

Ideal candidates have a BA/MA in Fashion or Textile Design, strong Photoshop/Illustrator skills, and a portfolio demonstrating your creative work and team collaboration. English is required; French or Italian are a plus.

Qualifications

• BA or MA in Fashion Design, Textile Design (a valid internship agreement from your current school is mandatory)
• A genuine passion for fashion with a creative research mindset
• A strong understanding of jersey fabric properties, construction, and garment design principles.
• Very strong proficiency in Photoshop and/or Illustrator
• Completed at least one graduation collection or previous experience in a design studio
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Fluent in English, French or Italian is a plus

Responsabilités

• Contribute to the creative process by researching fashion trends, concepts, and jersey fabric innovations.
• Support the design and technical development of jersey garments.
• Work with other departments.
• Participate in pattern adjusting and draping for jersey designs.
• Maintain an organized system for jersey fabrics, swatches, samples, and digital design files.
• Provide crucial support to the jersey team during collection development cycles and fashion week.
• Participate in the preparation design fittings: preparation of boards, setting up mock-ups, monitoring and reception of prototypes
• Assist in organizing team meetings and preparing presentations
• Carry out general day-to-day tasks to support the smooth running of the Studio
