LVMH in Paris invites you to an Assistant Studio Knitwear and Jersey internship. This six-month program starts in January (womenswear) or March (menswear) and offers hands-on experience in knitwear design, textiles, and fashion week support.

You will research trends, assist in technical development, draft flat sketches, manage samples, and support the team across departments. A portfolio is required; fluency in English, French or Italian is a plus.

Qualifications

• BA or MA in Fashion Design or Textile Design is required (internship agreement from your school mandatory).
• Strong passion for fashion with a creative research mindset.
• Understanding of knitwear design principles and textile construction.
• Proficiency in Photoshop and/or Illustrator.
• Completed at least one graduation collection or prior design studio experience.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Fluent in English; French or Italian is a plus.
• Portfolio submission is mandatory.

Missions

• Contribute to the creative process by researching fashion trends, concepts, and textile innovations.
• Support the design and technical development of knitted fabrics and of jersey garments .
• Assist in the technical development of knitwear and jersey garments, including drafting clear flat sketches.
• Aid in the sampling, prototyping, and refinement stages of new designs.
• Maintain an organized system for yarns, swatches, fabric samples, and digital design files.

Profile

• BA or MA in Fashion Design or Textile Design (a valid internship agreement from your current school is mandatory)
• A genuine passion for fashion with a creative research mindset
• A strong understanding of knitwear design principles and textile construction.
• Strong proficiency in Photoshop and/or Illustrator
• Completed at least one graduation collection or previous experience in a design studio
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Fluent in English, French or Italian is a plus
