A leading defense and security firm is seeking an IVVQ Test Specialist to join their team. This role involves planning and executing test events for military and ship systems, primarily onsite at Vancouver Shipyards with opportunities for remote work. The ideal candidate should possess a background in Computer Science and have at least 3 years of relevant experience. Competitive compensation is offered, along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Thales Canada, Defence & Security is engaged in the building of ships for Canada’s National Shipbuilding Strategy (NSS) program.
Please note that this role will involve working onsite daily at our Client’s site, Vancouver Shipyards. Extended periods of travel to Victoria are anticipated. Some travel outside of British Columbia may be required. Some ship voyages during test events will be required.
Ability to acquire and maintain Canadian Secret, Controlled Goods, ITAR, NATO Secret and COMSEC security clearances.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in military systems, ship systems and DOORS.

The reference total target compensation (TTC) market range for this position, inclusive of annual base salary and the variable compensation target, is between 78,355.41 - 138,789.56 CAD Annual.
