Job summary

Zama is building a dedicated IT function with security at its core and seeks an IT Administrator to own day-to-day IT support and help scale the team. You’ll manage the Mac fleet with Jamf, drive Jamf and Okta rollouts, and implement identity and access management with best practices.

You will automate repetitive tasks, strengthen security posture with the IT lead, and build clear internal documentation to support rapid growth of the company.

Qualifications

• Experience providing day-to-day IT support
• Ability to manage a Mac fleet (Jamf)
• Experience with device provisioning and configuration
• Familiarity with Okta or identity tooling
• Interest in security and risk-awareness
• Ability to document processes clearly

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day IT support for the company, resolving device issues and access problems quickly and clearly.
• Manage the Mac fleet: provisioning, configuring, maintaining, and retiring Macs, ensuring patching and consistency with Jamf.
• Drive Jamf and Okta rollouts: support deployments, onboarding users, address rollout questions, refine configurations.
• Run identity and access management in Okta with least-privilege and security best practices.
• Identify repetitive help desk requests and reduce them through automation and better documentation.
• Contribute to IT security projects and bring a security mindset to changes.
• Document and improve internal processes so IT scales with the company.

Job description

Zama builds privacy infrastructure for onchain finance, and the way we run our own systems needs to reflect that. As the company scales, we are building out a dedicated IT function with security at its core. We are looking for an IT Administrator to join our IT lead, share ownership of the function, and make sure the team gets fast, reliable support while the longer-term security projects keep moving.

What you'll do

• Own day-to-day IT support: Handle help desk requests across the company, from device issues to access problems, and resolve them quickly and clearly. Be the person colleagues trust to get them back to work.

• Manage the Mac fleet: Provision, configure, maintain, and retire company Macs. Keep devices patched, compliant, and consistently configured through Jamf.

• Drive the Jamf and Okta rollouts: Support the deployment of device management and identity tooling across the company, including onboarding users, handling the questions and issues each rollout generates, and refining configurations as we learn.

• Run identity and access management: Manage onboarding and offboarding, application access, and permissions in Okta, with least-privilege and security best practices as the default.

• Automate the repetitive: Identify recurring help desk requests and reduce them through automation, self-service, and better documentation.

• Strengthen our security posture: Contribute to IT security projects alongside our IT lead, and bring a security mindset to every change you make to our systems.

• Document and improve: Build and maintain clear internal documentation and processes so the IT function scales with the company.
