Qualifications

The team

The Investment Banking division is organised across industry, country, and product coverage teams. Industry teams include Consumer and Retail; Natural Resources; Financial Institutions; Financial Sponsors; Healthcare; Multi-Industries; Real Estate, Gaming and Leisure; and Technology, Media and Telecoms amongst others. Product teams cover Mergers and Acquisitions and Leveraged Finance and country teams cover all regions in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and are partially or fully based in regional offices. Coverage teams work together across the Investment Banking division to provide solutions to our clients on a range of strategic topics covering corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions and capital markets advice.

Programme Overview

Our Off‑cycle Analyst programme is designed to offer you a broad and exciting experience of work within Investment Banking. During your internship, you’ll be gaining exposure to a variety of industry, country or product coverage teams.

Training and Development

Your training and development are our top priority with extensive formal training offered at the start of the programme in addition to on‑the‑job support, educational speaker events and mentorship throughout.

Eligibility
  • Candidates are required to be pursuing either an undergraduate or postgraduate degree from an accredited college or university.
  • On track for a minimum 2:1 degree classification (or equivalent)
  • Candidates must be available for a programme start date of January 2027 and for a period of 6 months from the programme start date.

Candidates who perform well during the internship may be offered full time employment to commence in July 2028; some lines of business may also offer the opportunity of a January or April start date. You must be available to join on one of these start dates if offered, unfortunately we are unable to offer deferrals.

  • Fluency in French and English is essential for all roles.

Desired
  • For some roles within Emerging Markets (including sub‑Sahara Africa, Russia and China), a knowledge of those regions is required
