Bank of America in Paris is recruiting a Global Corporate Banking 2027 Off-Cycle Analyst for the Financial Institutions Group. The program offers hands-on exposure to relationship management, origination, and execution across Loan, Bond financing, Trade Finance, and Cash Management.

You will support live transactions, credit proposals, client pitches, and ad-hoc tasks while working with multiple teams across a highly international environment. January 2027 start target for eligible students.

Qualifications

  • Must be pursuing an undergraduate or postgraduate degree with completion between January 2026 and July 2028.
  • Fluency in English and French is essential.
  • Strong academic results and ability to join in January 2027.

Responsabilités

  • Assist Global Corporate Banking professionals in relationship management, origination, and execution across product areas (including Loan & Bond financing, Trade Finance, and Cash Management)
  • Work on live transactions and assist in the preparation of credit proposals and loan documents for new financing deals and credit renewals
  • Contribute to client pitches including by preparing relationship overviews, credentials and peer analysis
  • Provide support on ad-hoc tasks including client material discussion, pipeline tracking, company profiles, quarterly business reviews and KYC
  • Work closely with Capital Markets, Payment Solutions and Global Markets teams on client coverage and origination
  • Gain an in-depth understanding of our FIG clients and the subsectors they operate in and how the bank helps support growth and day-to-day banking needs
  • Gain familiarity with the legal and documentation aspects of various debt instruments

The team:

The Global Corporate Banking Financial Institutions Group (FIG) partners with some of the most significant financial institutions across Western Europe, including banks, insurance companies, asset managers, and private equity firms. The team is responsible for originating new business opportunities and delivering tailored financing, treasury, and risk management solutions to clients. FIG bankers act as trusted advisors, managing senior client relationships and coordinating the firm’s product capabilities to provide strategic and innovative solutions that help clients achieve their business objectives. The role offers broad exposure to corporate banking, capital markets, and relationship management in a highly international environment.

Programme Overview

Our Off-Cycle Analyst programme is designed to offer you a broad and exciting experience of what it is like to work as a full time Corporate Banking analyst. During the internship you will be placed within the Western Europe FIG team, working across a diverse range of FIG subsectors and products.

Training and Development

Your training and development is our top priority with extensive formal training offered at the start of the programme in addition to on the job support, educational speaker events and mentorship throughout (such as AI training, Financial Crime knowledge, Credit Analysis).

Responsibilities:

As an off-cycle analyst, your key tasks and responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Assist Global Corporate Banking professionals in relationship management, origination, and execution across a diverse set of product areas (including Loan & Bond financing, Trade Finance, and Cash Management)
  • Work on live transactions and assist in the preparation of credit proposals and loan documents for new financing deals and credit renewals
  • Contribute to client pitches including by preparing relationship overviews, credentials and peer analysis
  • Provide support on ad-hoc tasks including client material discussion, pipeline tracking, company profiles, quarterly business reviews and KYC
  • Work closely with Capital Markets, Payment Solutions and Global Markets teams on client coverage and origination
  • Gain an in-depth understanding of our FIG clients, the subsectors in which they operate and how the bank helps support both their growth aspirations and day-to-day banking requirements
  • Gain familiarity with the legal and documentation aspects of various debt instruments
Eligibility
  • Candidates are required to be pursuing either an undergraduate or postgraduate degree from an accredited college or university with a completion time frame between January 2026 and July 2028. Completion means that you have completed all final exams, coursework, and have no outstanding requirements for graduation.
  • On track for strong academic results (e.g., a minimum UK 2:1 degree classification or equivalent)
  • Must be available to join the programme in January 2027
  • Applications are accepted from a diverse range of degree disciplines such as the arts and humanities, as well as numerically focused subjects such as economics and mathematics
  • Fluency in English and French is essential
