Job summary

IXO Inc. seeks experienced investment banking professionals to create realistic banking exercises and review financial models and presentations produced in response. You will author pitchbooks, valuation analyses, market updates, and comps, while building and reviewing DCF and LBO models and merger implications.

The role requires strong valuation judgment and clear, concise communication. Preferred candidates have 3–6+ years in investment banking, an MBA or finance master’s, and direct

Qualifications

• 3–6+ years in investment banking at a major bank, elite boutique or leading middle-market firm.
• MBA or finance master’s degree or equivalent advanced qualification, with highly regarded programs valued.
• Direct experience building models and pitch materials reviewed by managing directors or presented professionally.
• Strong valuation judgment, attention to detail and concise written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Explain deal rationale, strategic fit, financing structure and relevant market conditions.
• Assess generated analysis for numerical accuracy, professional presentation and realism.
• Refine evaluation rubrics and explain difficult accounting or valuation edge cases.

Preferred background

• Three to six or more years in investment banking at a major bank, elite boutique or leading middle-market firm, across M&A, ECM, DCM, leveraged finance or industry coverage.
• An MBA, finance master’s or equivalent advanced qualification, with highly regarded programs valued.
• Direct experience building models and pitch materials reviewed by managing directors or presented professionally.
• Strong valuation judgment, attention to detail and concise written and verbal communication.

Pay and engagement

$48–$105/hour
