Job summary

Hager Group is seeking an intern to join as a Technical Content Creator for Electrical Specifiers for a 6-month period, starting January–February 2027. Based in Obernai (Paris possible) with mentoring from a Business Development Senior Manager, you will translate technical knowledge into clear content for engineers, consultants, and designers.

You will research regulatory topics, support notes and value propositions, and coordinate with technical, commercial, and marketing teams to ensure

• Master’s level student in marketing, communication, electrical/energy engineering, or related field.
• Proficient in English in a professional environment; German/French an asset.
• Experience or exposure to electrotechnical topics is advantageous.
• Ability to translate complex information into clear, structured content.
• Strong writing and communication skills for technical content.

We are looking for our future intern Technical Content Creator for Electrical Specifiers based in Obernai (Paris possible as well) for a duration of 6 months starting from January-February 2027.

Your mission:

Reporting to the Business Development Senior Manager, the whole team will rely on you to:

• Translate technical expertise into clear and relevant content for electrical specifiers, including engineers, consultants and electrical designers.
• Research and structure technical topics, such as regulatory developments, planning requirements, application principles and the use of digital planning tools.
• Support the creation of application notes, technical value propositions and communication materials that connect product and solution knowledge with customer risks, responsibilities and project requirements.
• Coordinate content development with internal technical, commercial and communication stakeholders, ensuring that the resulting materials are technically credible, understandable and ready for practical use.

The broader team consists of six people. We develop the strategies, content, tools, capabilities and ways of working needed to engage key customer types and grow Project Business across our markets.

Your profil:

• Currently a student at Master’s Degree level in marketing, communication, electrical engineering, energy engineering, building services engineering or a related field, you are looking for an internship of 6 months.
• You are proficient in English in a professional environment. Knowledge of German and/or French would be an additional asset.
• You have a strong interest in electrical engineering, building technologies and technical applications. Previous academic, professional or personal exposure to electrotechnical topics would be a significant advantage.
• You can understand complex information and translate it into clear, structured and audience-oriented content.
• You have strong writing and communication skills and an interest in developing technical content, application notes and customer value propositions.
• You demonstrate curiosity, initiative and autonomy and enjoy collaborating with technical, commercial and marketing stakeholders.
• You are proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Previous exposure to electrical planning and design tools such as EPLAN, WSCAD, Zuken, Autodesk AutoCAD or Revit would be an advantage.
• Your analytical thinking, attention to detail and ability to combine technical substance with effective communication will be your best assets to succeed in your mission.
