Schroders is seeking an Investment Analyst intern to join the Private Equity Real Estate team in Paris for a 6-month program starting January 2027. You will support investment and asset management across diversified real estate products, with exposure to ESG initiatives and data management.

You will work on budgeting, reporting, valuations, and market analyses while collaborating with multiple departments. Fluency in French and English, and a background in finance or real estate, are required.

The team

Schroder Real Estate being in a strategic development phase in France, you are to assist the investment management team in acquisition analysis as well as management of acquired assets.

Since 2014, the Paris team, consisting of 7 investment professionals, has executed c. €1.3 billion of commercial real estate transactions. It currently manages a diversified portfolio located in France, Belgium and Luxembourg.

The internship will provide you with a unique introduction into the investment management industry and how the Real Estate department operates within it, as well as in-depth training, challenge and responsibility. You will assist with the management of a broad range of open and closed ended real estate funds, whether that’s in single countries or on a panEuropean basis.

Who we’re looking for

We are looking for an Investment Analyst (internship) to join our Private Equity Real Estate division in Paris on a 6-month internship starting in January 2027. The role involves working on diversified real estate products and Investment and Asset Management initiatives.

What you’ll do

• Assist the Team in daily management tasks and more cyclical operations on the existing portfolio: budget elaboration and follow up, reporting, valuations etc.
• Build and update financial models to support asset management initiatives, transactions (acquisitions and sales) and debt financing
• Perform market studies, benchmarking and analysis of comparable assets
• Support the Team in the preparation of investment memorandum and various asset management reports
• Attend Team meetings, collaborate with other departments and help with project management activities
• Update investment pipeline and collect data from external stakeholders
• Assist the Team in implementing asset management initiatives and ensuring data reliability to meet ESG requirements
• Attend (onsite) meetings with service providers including agents, architects, building managers and contractors
• Help organize and maintain asset documentation and internal databases (performance, sustainability etc)

The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need

• Student at a top tier Business School, Engineering School or University
• Previous internships in Finance and/or Real Estate and genuine interest in Real Estate
• Experienced with Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Fluent in French and English

The knowledge, experience and qualifications that will help

• A first experience in M&A, TS or Private Equity will be highly appreciated
• Another EU language would be a plus
