OPmobility SE is seeking a motivated master's student to join the Engineering Design & Development team for an AI tooling internship. Location is Sainte-Julie, near Lyon, with a February 2027 start for six months.

In this role you will consolidate training data, define KPIs for AI models, evaluate model performance on industrial use cases, and automate data workflows while writing procedures in English. Fluency in English and Python is required.

Formación

• Pursuing a Master’s degree (Bac+5) in CAE, Applied Math, AI, Deep Learning, or related field.
• Advanced English (B2/C1).
• Strong Python, scripting, AI and Deep Learning skills. Moldflow knowledge is a plus.
• Knowledge of Python, SQL, Windows, and web interfaces.

Job Description

Within the Engineering Design & Development department, you will contribute to the implementation and refinement of AI tools designed to support product development and injection tooling, for use by Injection and Rheology Engineers.

Desired start date: February 2027

Duration: 6 months

Main responsibilities:

• - Consolidate and improve the reliability of existing training datasets.
• - Define and calculate engineering performance indicators that can be used by AI models.
• - Evaluate model performance on industrial use cases.
• - Improve the automation of data transfer workflows, from data collection to database integration and AI model processing.
• - Write user procedures and knowledge-sharing documentation in English.

Candidate profile:

• - You are currently pursuing a Master's degree (Bac+5) in Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE), Applied Mathematics, Artificial Intelligence, Deep Learning, or a related field.
• - You have an advanced level of English (B2/C1).
• - You have intermediate to advanced skills in Python programming, scripting, Artificial Intelligence, and Deep Learning. Knowledge of Moldflow would be an advantage.
• - You have knowledge of Python, SQL databases, Windows environments, and web interfaces.
• - You have strong analytical skills, take initiative, and enjoy working as part of a team

Location: Sigmatech – Avenue du Bois des Vergnes, 01150 Sainte-Julie (40 km from Lyon, carpooling available)
