OPmobility in France invites applications for an Internship - Validation Engineer: Artificial Intelligence. You will join the Engineering Product Validation team to develop Python modules using deep learning libraries to optimize test processing.

Starting January 2027 for 6 months, the role offers hands-on AI model development, data handling, weekly progress reporting, and documentation, with benefits including transportation allowance and access to the company restaurant and gym.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Artificial Intelligence.
• Strong Python and AI libraries experience (OpenCV, TensorFlow).
• Good knowledge of Windows OS.
• Fluent to advanced English (B2/C1).
• Autonomous, curious, and proactive.

Responsabilités

• Develop Python modules for AI and deep learning.
• Improve an existing test prediction model and develop AI-specific models.
• Create new prediction models for various test types.
• Define learning strategies and contribute to model decisions.
• Build databases and define data input requirements for models.
• Validate developed models and evaluate their performance.
• Manage the project and monitor progress of developments.
• Provide weekly progress reports and document the software.

Job Description

Within the Engineering Product Validation department, you will develop Python modules using deep learning and artificial intelligence libraries (YOLO, OpenCV, etc.) to optimize and improve the processing of various tests.

Desired start date: Starting in January 2027
Duration: 6 months

Main responsibilities:

• Develop Python modules for AI and deep learning
• Complete and improve an existing test prediction model and develop AI-specific models
• Develop and create new prediction models for different types of tests
• Define learning strategies and contribute to model decision-making
• Build the necessary databases and collaborate with teams to define data input requirements for the models
• Validate the developed models and evaluate their performance
• Manage the project independently and monitor the progress of the various developments
• Provide weekly reports on project progress and any issues encountered
• Write the software documentation related to the developments

Candidate profile:

• You are currently pursuing a Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Artificial Intelligence
• You have an advanced level of English (B2/C1)
• You have very good knowledge of Windows
• You have advanced knowledge of Python and Artificial Intelligence (OpenCV, TensorFlow)
• You are comfortable using Spyder, YOLO, OpenCV and TensorFlow
• You have intermediate knowledge of optical recognition and deep learning modules
• You have intermediate project management skills
• You have knowledge of software development applied to Artificial Intelligence
• You are autonomous, curious, dynamic and determined
