Job summary

CEPA Study Abroad invites applications for an internship at the European Study Center Strasbourg, housed in Château de Pourtalès. You will support project management, partner outreach, budgeting, and research for faculty-led programs across Europe, while delivering front desk and back-office support at the castle hotel operations.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree in tourism, business, or cultural studies, fluent English, and strong MS Office skills; multilingual applicants are

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in tourism, business administration, cultural studies or similar.
• Immatriculation confirmation (Convention de Stage)
• Previous experience abroad and event/group trip organization preferred
• Fluency in English; additional languages (French, German, Italian or Spanish) preferred
• Advanced MS Office skills
• High level of teamwork and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Project management: organize and implement faculty-led programs in Europe.
• Expand and cultivate contacts with host companies and institutions.
• Budgeting and cost control.
• Research and analysis on cultural and academic topics related to study abroad topics.
• Evaluate customer reviews.
• Reception and guest service at Château de Pourtalès.

It is not only important to us to offer educational opportunities for international students, but also for European students at our locations.

An internship at our European Study Center (ESC) Strasbourg provides a unique opportunity to work in an international environment with people coming from around the world. The study center is located in the Château de Pourtales, a 250-year old and company-owned castle, that also operates a 3-star hotel.

We accept applications for internships starting every January/February and every fall in August/September. In addition, we welcome initiative applications throughout the year. At the moment, we are looking for candidates who can start in January and March 2027.

Tasks

European Study Center Strasbourg:

• Project management: organization and implementation of faculty-led programs in Europe

• Expanding and cultivating contacts with companies or institutions who welcome our groups

• Budgeting and cost control

• Research and analysis on cultural and academic topics related to new study abroad topics and regions

• Evaluation of customer reviews

Château de Pourtalès:

• Reception and guest service with check-in and check-out

• Breakfast service with preparation and clean-up

• Back office support

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (tourism, business administration, cultural studies or similar)
