Air Liquide is seeking an internship candidate to join the Group Strategy and Competitive Intelligence (GSCI) team in Paris. You will collect data, summarize sector news, and prepare analyses on sustainability topics for the Group and its competitors.

You will contribute to financial analyses, maintain competition databases, and create clear reports and presentations. English fluency, advanced Excel, and a proactive, independent work style are essential.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree programme in Business School or Engineering School.
• Strong data collection and news summarization skills.
• Good understanding of financial analysis and accounting.
• Excel proficiency; Power BI and Apps Script a plus.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Fluent in English (verbal and written).
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges.

Responsabilités

• Collect data and summarise news related to the Industrial Gas sector and energy transition trends.
• Prepare analyses related to sustainability topics for the Group and its competitors.
• Assist in the financial analysis of competitors, including updating financial models.
• Gather insights for ad-hoc analyses on financial/M&A topics, market shares, and business trends.
• Update and improve competition databases.
• Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings effectively.

The Group Strategy and Competitive Intelligence department (GSCI) supports Air Liquide’s Group Senior Management (COMEX, CEO) in defining the strategy and assessing its environment. It brings added value to the COMEX by anticipating, highlighting and sharing the trends and significant news. It also coordinates the business intelligence community and data, leveraging and sharing the relevant information to the operations.

The GSCI department is responsible for the following tasks:

• Group Strategy coordination and management ;
• Extended competition watch and market analysis ;
• Foresight to reveal and challenge long term assumptions and potentials.

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

To support the GSCI team, we are looking for an intern who will work on the following tasks:

• Collecting data and summarizing news related to the Industrial Gas sector and some Energy Transition trends ;
• Preparing analyses related to sustainability topics for the Group and its competitors ;
• Assisting in the financial analysis of competitors, including updating financial models ;
• Gathering insights and information for ad-hoc analyses on financial / M&A topics, market shares, business trends ;
• Updating and improving competition databases ;
• Preparing reports and presentations to communicate findings effectively.
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree programme in Business School or Engineering School.
• Good understanding of financial analysis and accounting.
• Proficiency in Excel (proficiency in Power BI, Google App Script is a plus).
